The book is okay. It's smaller than I expected with small pics and not so much detail. I'd say this book is for someone who just wants to get familiar with herbs.
Has helped me through so much. I became interested in herbal healing because of the cheapness to be honest. I wanted to use all natural herbs for daily medicinal needs like scrapes, colds or aches and pains.I've helped many family members who roll their eyes at the "hippy bullcrap" but they keep quiet when it's the lavender and tea tree on their bugbites ylthat soothe the itch and not the cheap anti itch cream that was the only thing they could afford.I love reading through the encyclopedia about herbs I never knew existed that have amazing effects. My favorite is comfrey a herb nicknamed bone nit because it heals so rapidly the book warns to pick out detritus or the skin will seal over it! The author is very scientific and touches on the different types of herbal healing used throughout history around the world and which have a actual scientific source.
